It’s time to pack your bags and head straight to the airport! With sets of pens and crayons along with your drawing books today will be the day when your architecture Study Tour to Russia begins!

Day 2 of Architecture Study Visit: Touch Down!
Welcome to Moscow- The capital city of Russia! After 10 hours of flight time, cool down, get acclimatized and wash off your ‘Jet Lag’ with freshness of this city’s blissful weather.

Day 3 of Architecture Study Visit: Soviet Avant Garde!
We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us! – Winston Churchill
Witness the experimental and radical architecture work in the capital city. Study the Constructivist architecture of Tsentrosoyuz Building, Narkomfim Building (Cultural Heritage Monument of Russia) and Corbusier House.
Later visit VDNKh- An all-purpose trade show and amusement park!
At night visit the famous Hilton Leningradskaya hotel and study its Stalinist Neoclassical style of architecture.

Day 4 of Architecture Study Visit: Kremlin!
Rise up to visit the fortified Kremlin! Today we’ll cover the most famous places known for its beautiful architecture and of historical importance in Russian Revolution. Study the architecture of Kremlin Armory, its Cathedrals, beautiful Ivan the Great Bell Tower and the very famous St. Basil’s Cathedral.
In the afternoon we visit the architects paradise-Shchusev Museum of Architecture- the National Architecture Museum of Russia where you’ll study and find more than 1 million items!
Next, we catch up with Russia’s best architect’s work and visit his house known as Melnikov House!

Day 5 of Architecture Study Visit: Soviet Architecture!
Today would be the day when you see the Soviet Architecture come alive! The places which you visit were constructed because of a revolution so understand the history and their reason and get awed by these structures! The first visit will be to the House of Embankment- huge residential, commercial and luxurious hotel, next visiting Sparrow Hills followed by Shukhov Tower- a steel diagrid structure built during 1920 Civil War!
Visit the Moscow University in the evening and study the grand architecture with a fantastic history behind it. Sketch it, click it, study it or just admire the magnificent structure.
The evening will be free to catch up on some local shopping and enjoying the local cuisine!

Day 6 of Architecture Study Visit: Scenic Journey!
After filing your tummies in the morning it’s time for some ‘high-speed scenic journey’ to St. Petersburg! The journey spanning roughly 4 hours it’s bound to give you one of a kind experience.
Once in St. Petersburg by noon, we cool ourselves down and take a small tour by bus and spend time leisure.

Day 7 of Architecture Study Visit: Magical St. Petersburg!
Get welcomed by this grand and humongous Winter Palace at St. Petersburg. Visit the Winter Palace Square and sketch down its architecture! Later check out its Hermitage Museum and its Gala rooms!
Later in noon visit the great Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, Grand Choral Synagogue & Saint Isaac’s Cathedral! Get inspired by the fascinating onion domes, splendid interiors, magical paintings and a lot more!

Day 8 of Architecture Study Visit: Another grand visit!
Our first pit-stop for today will be at Catherine’s Summer Palace! This stunning palace was originally built in Rococo style or Late Baroque style of architecture and later modified and renovated in a grand way! Study visit to this place will help students get exposure to the best of European architecture.
Next stop is at the Grand Peterhof Palace referred to as the Russian Versailles- a UNESCO World Heritage Site! The planning and architectural design of this 1.02 km2 garden palace will surely get you awed!

Day 9 of Architecture Study Visit: “do svidaniya” Russia!
It’s time to say “goodbye” to this amazing land of Stalinist and Constructivist style of architecture. With a new horizon explored this architectural study visit to Russia would definitely help you get infused with new thoughts and ideas to create something extraordinary!
